shanghai is addictive. when telling jieyang that i'm in love with shanghai and it might bias my experience in italy, he replied, “italy's the fling, shanghai's the wife”. of course my immensely enjoyable experience here has a great part to do with my incredulously fun, crazy and sometimes highly retarded friends.

we were at cabler again last night, this time we had a room with nice comfy cushions. So we wanted to play some games to keep us from each doing our own thing (e.g read mag and chat on msn) while we were in a group. amy suggested playing “categories” where someone starts by naming a category (e.g. animals) and the rest name something in that category in 5secs. so it came to a point jieyang started with “capital cities of the world” this led to ronald exclaiming in his recently overused profane vocabulary,

ronald: this is fucking easy la. Huh huh

as he slices part of his cake off to eat, looking really confident.
